Composer & Sound Designer
French composer for the audiovisual and performing arts worlds, I also work as a sound artist for the contemporary art world. My practice takes shape in the search for bridges between groups of individuals and different artistic fields (music, image and accessibility, music and dance, sound and spaces, etc.). These bridges take the form of an openness to the sound worlds that surround us and the hybridisation of the materials borrowed in my work (recurring cohabitation between acoustic and electronic, bringing together seemingly distant musical genres, respecting the very essence of a sound by using it for what it is without processing, etc.).
Ces ponts se matérialisent par une ouverture aux mondes sonores qui nous entourent et par l’hybridation des matériaux empruntés dans mes travaux (cohabitation récurrente entre acoustique et électronique, mise en relation de genres musicaux en apparence éloignés, respect de l’essence même d’un son en l’employant pour ce qu’il est sans traitement, …). C’est en servant des projets pluri et transdisciplinaires que je nourris un travail plus global qui cherche à transcender ce que la musique seule ne peut que difficilement atteindre.
